About Thelma Levett

Thelma is a longstanding entertainer, balloon artist and face painter.  Giving great value, Thelma offers a range of entertainment plans and has a superb reputation.

Thelma has a natural ability to captivate her young audiences with her comedy magic, puppetry and games as well as her amazing balloon art and face painting.  Thelma picked up her first bag of balloons in 1994 and has been addicted to balloons from that day.  The thing she loves most about balloon modelling is the impact it has on people.  “It is just wonderful to make people smile” she says.

Thelma has worked with a well known publisher with whom she has produced a number of instructional books and kits.  She has also written independently an array of instructional material for those who wish to learn this entertaining art form.

Taking her skills internationally Thelma has travelled to Belgium where she won an award for her modelling.  She has run workshops in Belgium, Holland and Germany as well as travelling around England running workshops.  In 2007 Thelma won 1st prize at the British Balloon Modelling Convention in the Hat category.

Thelma has also given several lectures to members of the Magic Circle, where she was asked to teach them how to make some balloon models that they could use as part of their act. However, those models had to look good, be quick and easy to make, yet use only two balloons. The result of those lectures led to Thelma writing her ebook “Two And A Bit.” Where Thelma shows you how to make 19 different models using only two balloons and a few balloon scraps.  Each model is clearly laid out with step by step instructions and clear photographs to ensure that you understand how to complete each model. She even suggests some alternatives to make the models different.

Thelma has since gone on to write two more balloon modelling books:

“Nice and Easy”

“A Little Bit More”.

These books fit either side of her a original book “Two and A Bit” .

As the title suggests “Nice and Easy” book is just that nice and easy balloon modelling for the beginner /intermediate, although aimed at being easy balloon twisting, the models are very good looking and are definitely NOT your usual beginners Dog/Giraffe type models.

Again “A Little Bit More” is aimed at the more adventurous balloon modeller/twister. Here Thelma has designed some very good balloon models, and they are meant to be a bit more taxing, yet still have those step by step instructions that we have come to expect from Thelma.
